Baby's Birth Registration in KSA - Part 2

salam..
this will be the second part of our baby's birth registration. Once you have completed with Saudi's birth registration, you need to proceed with the following step:
Step 3: Malaysian birth certificate and passport - Both of these documents need to be completed in Malaysian Consulate.
Provide the following documents:
  1. 3 copies of Saudi Birth Certificate - from step 2 and this need to be translated to English
  2. 3 copies of Marriage Certificate - original not translated!
  3. 3 copies of both parents' Identity Card
  4. 3 copies of both parents' Passport
  5. 3 copies of baby's photo (passport-size)
Additional information :
  1. complete 2 different forms for birth certificate and passport - get from the officer
  2. bring the baby along for his thumbprint
  3. bring along all the original documents
  4. there's a fee need to be paid

Baby's Birth Registration in KSA - Part 1

salam..
this entry will discuss the information needed for baby's birth registration in KSA - which my new-born baby needed..

Step 1: Birth Notification - this should be done in the hospital where your baby was born

Get the registration form from the Birth Notification Office (this is in RCMC) and provide the following documents:
  1. a copy of parents' iqama (or either one)
  2. a copy of certified arabic-translated marriage certificate (in Akram's case, RCMC required the original certificate as well)
  3. a copy of parents' passport
NOTE: This process might take a few days. Always be patience...


Step 2: KSA's Birth Certificate - this should be done in Wizarah Dakhiliah, Mudiriah Aamah LilEhwal Madinah, Yanbu Al-Bahr

Provide the following documents:
  1. Original Birth Notification - from Step 1
  2. a copy of parents' iqama (or either one)
  3. a copy of certified arabic-translated marriage certificate
  4. a copy of parents' passport
NOTE: This process might complete in only 1 day ..


Next step that will be discussed in Part 2 will be the process to register for Malaysia Birth Certificate and get a passport for the new-born...
(we will go through this step this week. I'll update the next entry, as soon as we came back from the Malaysian Consulate in Jeddah)

Kenduri Aqiqah Muhammad Akram Suhaimi

Salam..
pada Jumaat, 5/3/2010 yang lepas, selepas waktu maghrib, alhamdulillah kenduri aqiqah untuk anak lelaki kami telah selamat dijalankan...
untuk yang belum tahu, kami namakan anak lelaki kami: Muhammad Akram bin Suhaimi.
kenduri aqiqah di Yanbu kali ini boleh dikatakan meriah kerana kami telah berkongsi kenduri aqiqah dengan anak perempuan kepada Zainuddin (http://www.lot7348.blogspot.com) dan Noorhasiah (http://blogcikaa.blogspot.com) yang juga baru dilahirkan, 2 hari selepas baby kami. Alang-alang mamanya dah berkongsi bilik di hospital, lahir pun berturut-turut hari, para jemputan pulak majoriti adalah komuniti yang sama, maka kami pun bersetuju untuk disekalikan majlis aqiqah keduanya.
Majlis kami bahagikan kepada 2 - jemputan lelaki diadakan di Islamic Dakwah Center, Camp 1; manakala untuk jemputan perempuan diadakan di rumah Noor di Al-Nakheel. Alhamdulillah, sangat ramai yang datang menghadiri majlis aqiqah anak-anak kami. Ramai juga yang turut membantu menguruskan majlis, baik di rumah Noor mahupun di Islamic Center. Ada juga yang turut membawa juadah-juadah sampingan.
Terima kasih tidak terhingga dari kami berempat serta keluarga.
