A few more visits to RCMC

continue from previous post...
Last Monday, I have an appointment with cardiologist. B/p was still high - 160/96. Doctor checked my medical history when I was admitted in the hospital during my end of pregnancy. He said my b/p was already above normal then. So, I am now likely to have hypertension. He prescribed me with medication and a few more tests to run.
First test - chest x-ray. Done on the same day.
Second test - ECG. Need appointment - Wednesday.
Third test - blood test. Need to be fasting - Wednesday.
Last Wednesday, again to RCMC.. Done the blood test and ECG.
I'll get all the results during my next visit with the cardiologist - in 3 weeks time...
RCMC - wait for me... :-)

Meanwhile, home-treatment for my high b/p - drink regularly the juice of green apple + cucumber + celery.

A visit to RCMC

Today (Sunday) I have another check-up with my gynae.. it was a postnatal check-up... Doctor do the ultrasound - Alhamdulillah, uterus okay, c-section scar okay...
another routine procedure at the clinic - weight & b/p measurement.. weight is okay - about 50kg (not exact :-p). unfortunately my b/p was not okay - 179/113 which is too high - beyond all my b/p readings before.. after taking the readings 3 to 4 times, the readings are still the same. my gynae referred me to cardiologist..
With the referral letter, me and hubby went to Cardiology Clinic. The receptionist ask me; "what to do with this letter". haaa??? you must be kidding... how can you ask a patient what to do when a referral letter is in the patient's hand?? Don't you have any procedure on referral letter?? We waited there about half an hour without being entertained (the receptionist's trying to avoid talking to us because she's not fluent in English!), finally she said "no doctor now, if you want to see doctor, go to ER"...
So, off we go to ER.. now, we are question by the receptionist at ER... "why come here, you have referral letter".. that one push us here, this one push us back there... sabar... sabar... so, we have to explained the situation.. luckily ER entertained us.. by this time, my b/p has climbed up to 200/115.. by the way, this is only the first step in ER.. at the receptionist, being called, nurse will take your temperature & b/p.. after twice taking my b/p with 2 different machines but still same reading, nurse then sent me to the ER..
second step, ER doctor entertained us, my b/p has gone down to 175/113.. so he just asked me to lay down - resting... after a while, they took my b/p again but the reading is still the same... So, immediate treatment was given. I was given Lasix through I.V.. the purpose is to remove water from my body. So, from time to time, i'll be going to the restroom.. After about half and hour resting in ER - back & forth to restroom, my b/p has gone down to 166/102.
Another doctor came to check on me - he's from General Medicine Clinic. Based on my history and family history, he said that I might probably having Hypertension. To be sure, I need to regularly go for check-up. So, another appointment for me... Now, doctor released me to go home with pills to be taken..

Next Monday - appointment with Cardiology Clinic.

Tamat sudahhhhhh...

I need a solution...
